Definition and communication of the long-term vision and strategy for the IT application landscape, based on the business requirements and objectives of the divisions and group functions Head of the TÜV SÜD Global Enterprise Architecture Board and implementation of governance processes to ensure compliance with architectural principles, corporate standards and best practices Development and implementation of methods and tools to control the IT application landscape, including the selection and introduction of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and an enterprise architecture software Responsible for strategic technology decisions in coordination with relevant stakeholders within the TÜV SÜD Construction and leadership of a highly qualified team of enterprise architects, including recruitment, training and development of architects community Head of the development and maintenance of the enterprise architecture, including the creation of architectural roadmaps, target architectures and transition plans Identification and evaluation of relevant technology trends on deployment opportunities for digitizing business processes and developing new business models, possibly by initiation of proof-of-concepts Supporting IT projects by providing architectural advice and guidance to ensure IT investment in line with enterprise architecture

Complete university studies in the field of (economic) informatics, natural sciences or comparable training At least 15 years of relevant professional experience in the design of modern IT architectures, sound knowledge in architectural methods and technologies (in particular .NET, Azure Cloud, Microservices, SAP, Low-Code, artificial intelligence) At least 5 years of professional experience as a responsible manager in the context of enterprise architecture in comparable or larger companies Experience in building new organisational structures and in defining, tuning and implementing company-wide governance models Relevant certifications (e.g. TOGAF, CoBiT, ITIL) of advantage Wide knowledge of software development projects (integration of standard software, individual development), project management and process modeling (e.g. according to BPMN) Entrepreneurial thinking and strong conceptual skills to work into the diverse business processes Enthusiasm for new technologies High communication skills at all hierarchical levels and team spirit Ability to understand complex technical concepts Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing

As an experienced and visionary lead enterprise architect (w/m/d), the digitalization of TÜV SÜD is a key role in IT management. In this global role, you will take responsibility for building and managing the Enterprise Architecture function. They report directly to the Head of Division IT and work closely with the IT architects of the divisions, corporate functions and IT infrastructure to ensure the orientation of IT to the strategic business objectives.
