Number: MER0003N87 In Group Research & Mercedes Benz Cars Development (RD), we design the automotive generations of the future. We mean innovative products with the highest quality and efficient development processes. We are already working on vehicles that will secure the technology leadership of Mercedes-Benz in the future. Within the Center of Competence, the team's trial planning, prototype logistics & workshop control ensures optimal IT support for the business processes of our business partners in the development of cars, power trains and vans. Among other things, we are responsible for the individual application SAFiR, which supports hardware planning for about 3,000 users in the development of cars, power trains and VAN. The functions range from demand query and quota planning to configuration and time planning including change management to rebuilding and testing planning over the entire life cycle of prototypes. As a working student*in - UI/UX modernization, you have the opportunity to help shape the modernization process of our enterprise application. Your main task is to introduce fresh ideas and design concepts to improve the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of the application and bring it up to date. These challenges include: Conduct analysis of the current type of use of the system and collect feedback from stakeholders to identify vulnerabilities and enhancements Brainstorming, sketching and prototyping of new UI/UX concepts and designs Create Mockups, Wireframes and interactive prototypes Work with developers to ensure the feasibility and smooth implementation of UI/UX improvements Conduct usability tests and collect user feedback to iterate designs Support in the creation and maintenance of design guidelines and documentation

Continuous study of computer science/economy/media science or comparable qualification Practical experience in project management Basic understanding of the development principles of web and mobile applications Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of PC, Windows and Office Strong interest in UI/UX design and a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces Database and programming skills are advantageous, but no requirement High self-motivation, independent and solution-oriented work, conceptual and analytical skills, communication skills, high readiness Additional information: Of course, without formalities, we are not.
