Linux Platform Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for Linux Platform Engineer R-KOM is provider of Internet, telephone and TV in East Bavaria and builds the fiber optic network of the future. Every year we develop over 10,000 units in more than 1,000 buildings - a challenging task. You contribute to the further growth and success of R-KOM with your commitment.

You enter and develop our Linux server landscape continuously You operate, automate and optimize our IP backbone and VoIP platforms and continuously develop them You act as technical contact for technicians in 2nd and 3rd level support in complex topics You are willing to participate in a separately remunerated readiness

You have a completed training or a successfully completed study in the field of IT You have several years of practical experience in Linux, whether in a professional or private environment You bring knowledge in the field of networking ( routing, switching, network design), ideally with practical experience You have experience with Python or a comparable script language Ideally, you have knowledge of DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Ansible) and Container Technologies
