W2 Professorship Business Law

At the Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Economics, the following professorship will be held on 1 September 2025 or later: W2-Professorship 'Economic Law'

We are looking for you if you bring well-founded knowledge and practical skills in the area of expertise provided for the professorship, focusing on economic law, labour law and/or IT and IP law and burning for application-oriented teaching and research. You are a full lawyer / full lawyer or business lawyer / business lawyer and bring practical experience in these areas. They should also permanently hold courses in English and be willing to take over coordinating and organizational tasks at the Institute for Management and Entrepreneurship.

Lectures in the field of basic training must be taken over. A commitment in applied research as well as the transfer of technology and knowledge between university and business is expected. The applicant is to participate in the exchange with our international partner universities and be able and ready to offer English-language courses.

In addition to the tasks in teaching, further education, research and development, professors are to engage in the faculty's self-governing bodies and colleges.

Completed university degree corresponding to the job Special achievements in the application or development of scientific knowledge and methods in at least five years of professional practice, which must be after the university degree. Relationship: The professorship is associated with service tasks according to § 46 Landeshochschulgesetz Baden-Württemberg. The first appointment to a professor's office is in principle carried out in a service relationship to rehearsal (§ 49, 50 LHG).
