Vice President Finance (m/f/d)

You're expecting You take the overall responsibility for the financial organization with the areas Accounting & Treasury, Tax & Customs and FP & A with currently around 35 employees. In the newly created role, you are responsible for the strategic orientation and further development of the financial strategy in line with the corporate strategy. You build on existing structures that you continue to professionalize and anchor across organizations. You'll align the finance business with the strategic goals in the long term by opting for organization, personnel, processes and technology. In doing so, you drive the digital transformation in the financial sector and drive for a continuous increase in efficiency. With your team, you are responsible for the financial planning, control and measurement of success, making an important contribution to the company's long-term value increase. You are responsible for adequate finance risk & compliance management and continuously develop controls, reporting and compliance structures. As a leader, you can increase the performance, motivation and satisfaction of your teams and support and support the long-term development of your executives. As a member of the Executive Team, you will always have a look at the entire company as well as your department goals and ensure efficient cooperation to achieve the corporate goals. Proactively, you set internal and external aides, plead networks and represent the company as a model to promote a strong, positive corporate culture. You report directly to the management, are central contact: in all financial questions and work closely with our shareholder Decathlon Pulse.

You have multi-year management and leadership experience in the financial sector, ideally in e-commerce or commerce and have a sound understanding of key financial topics. You bring comprehensive experience and expertise in accounting (HGB/IFRS), financial planning and Mergers & Acquisitions. You can demonstrate demonstrable success in the strategic and conceptual development of financial organisations. Your action is characterized by an entrepreneurial, analytical, systemic and solution-oriented approach and you actively and solution-oriented challenges. You have experience in indirect leadership, communicate clearly and transparently and understand how to promote a positive and productive corporate culture. In combination with other executives, you are committed to cross-departmental goals and show the necessary flexibility to restore your own interests in favor of joint success. You speak English and German fluently and bring the willingness to be on site 2-3 days a week in church intelligence.
