Number: MER0003XXI With MB.OS, Mercedes-Benz develops a company-wide, in-house responsible vehicle software platform for all Mercedes-Benz series. MB.OS forms the basis for central vehicle functions, user experience, connectivity as well as continuous software updates throughout the entire vehicle life cycle and is developed and operated in large parts internally. The Software Engineering Toolchain Agile Release Train (SET ART) is responsible within the PMT Solution for the strategic and operational control of SW engineering and DevOps toolchains, including associated processes and methods with which thousands of developers worldwide work on MB.OS – organized according to the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). As a working student, you work directly with the Business Owner, the Product Ownern and the responsible product managers. You support strategic questions as well as operationally in ongoing ART operations, thereby gaining an exceptionally deep insight into the leadership, control and everyday life of an international Agile Release Train at enterprise level. These challenges include: Support of the Business Owner and Product Owner in the development of concepts, decision bases and management presentations

Data analyses and evaluations to support product, portfolio and ART control, e.g.: Processing and analysis of data from data exports using suitable tools such as PowerBI, Python, Excel, ...

Creation of structured evaluations, dashboards and decision bases

Operational support in ongoing ART and bodies, e.g.: Preparation, coordination and follow-up of regular dates, reviews and management bodies

Documentation of results, decisions and measures

Coordination of sizes, dependencies and open points

Research on strategic, organizational and methodological issues in the context of software platforms, DevOps, software engineering, AI, SAFe and agile organisations

Close cooperation with Product Management, Product Ownern and other stakeholders in a highly international setup (Germany, including Stuttgart, Sindelfingen, Berlin, India and Turkey)

Active use of Atlassian Jira and Confluence for structured control, transparency and documentation

Participation in the further development of working methods, but also in the practical support of the daily business of an Agile Release Train
