Electronics Technician for Large Transformers and Chokes (m/w/d)

With the maintenance and repair of large transformers and I contribute to a secure network operation.

This makes this job interesting for me: 50Hertz has been engaged long for the energy transition. High Voltage Equipment Team I carry out the maintenance, repair and diagnostic activities of the service teams at large transformers (e.g. 380 kV/110 kV/ 30 kV) and Compensation throttles (e.g. 30 kV, 380 kV) in the 50Hertz substations in cooperation with my colleagues. I also lead repair projects (e.g. replacement of individual components of pumps, fans, monitoring devices...) and check the full functionality before the subsequent Commissioning. I am traveling in the entire network area and bringing my expertise everywhere where it is urgently needed.

My tasks

· Maintenance and diagnostic activities in large transformers and compensation throttles within the scope of maintenance, · Step switch revisions and retrofitting of product improvements in cooperation with the respective manufacturer, · Exchange of individual components (e.g. pumps, fans, Monitoring equipment...) as part of repair projects with subsequent function test.

My skills

· Complete training as an electronic, masterin or Techniciansin the field of electrical engineering / operating technology or comparable Qualification, · Very high readiness to travel throughout the 50Hertz network area (East Germany and Hamburg), · Driving class B and very good German skills (C1).

No need, but of advantage:

· Experience in dealing with the common working equipment (working platform, oil management on transformers etc.), · Multiannual experience in the maintenance of power plants.
