Who we are

The LVR-Jugendhilfe Rheinland with the facilities in Solingen, Tönisvorst, Remscheid and Euskirchen is a highly differentiated youth aid facility with 351 seats.

The care offered by the girls' group Pfaffenberger Weg offers 7 places and is aimed at girls aged 12 and over who, for different reasons, can no longer live in the parental household or in the system of origin. In the group of girls Pfaffenberger Weg, a life environment is offered to the girls that is based on the different situations of life. Trust-building support and the assumption that all the reactions of the girls have happened and also happen in the group of homes for a “good reason” represent the basic attitude of the pedagogical self-understanding. The accommodation takes place according to §§34 and 35a SGB VIII.

The team consists of various professions, the staff key is 1:1.17. The employees work in the interlayer system, the group is occupied 24 hours 7 days a week.
