We are looking for a Web Application Security (WAF) Specialist (m/w/d) for the next event for the Münster or Hanover site.

Your tasks:

• Maintenance and development of security policies (WAF policies, signature withdrawals) and technical documentation and internal guidelines
• Contact person for security events, technical questions and exceptional cases
• Coordination with application development and operation related to policy use and adjustments
• Support and extension of analysis and monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk Dashboards)
• Technical project management for security projects with focus on Web Application Firewall
• Support for the onboarding of new project applications and coordination of stakeholders, technical advice and technical implementation
• Extension and evaluation of safety-relevant events (e.g.: False Positives, Attack Pattern)

Your profile:

• Completed study or comparable qualification with multi-year, relevant professional experience
• Practical experience with Web Application Firewalls (ideally F5 ASM or comparable)
• Funded understanding of web applications and their protection needs
• experience in coordinating technical topics or in project management roles
• Embossed capacity for structured thinking and action and enforcement
• Team-oriented operation and high result orientation
• Effective understanding, fast learning ability and ability to understand and communicate technical content
