System Engineer Netzwerk (m/w/d)

As a core data center team, we are part of the agile Markant IT family with more than 200 colleagues. Our team is responsible for the disciplines network, storage and backup, monitoring and the entire RZ operation of our state-of-the-art data centers in Offenburg and Appenweier. Here we connect more than 3500 device ports. In addition, we provide more than 1000 employees with LAN, WLAN and WAN services in our buildings in Offenburg and at our European locations. In order to cope with the continuous growth of the network and the demands on it, we develop our infrastructure towards automation incl. the use of cloud technologies.

You opt for and manage the national and international network infrastructure (LAN/WLAN/WAN) with CISCO components from our Offenburg site. You develop the network infrastructure (e.g. CISCO ACI) towards automation/scripting. You develop forward-looking concepts in flexible teams with the focus on a hybrid operation. You work in projects to expand operational safety.

You have a completed computer science study, a completed training as a specialist in system integration or are a dedicated cross-comer. You already have professional experience in the areas of conception and operation in the network environment (LAN/WLAN). You bring enthusiasm for network technology and interest in the automation of workflows. You work customer- and solution-oriented. You ideally have scripting skills (Ansible or Python). You have advanced German and good English skills.
