Here:

• Full-time with 40 hours per week, part-time after consultation possible.
• Remote: day by day (after the time of incorporation), at least 60% of the work in the office

Your tasks:

• You work actively in the team to meet product-related guidelines, laws and other requirements, both in the case of goods from third countries and the EU. This includes an intensive exchange with our suppliers in Germany and abroad in order to organize compliance with the requirements together.
• Currently this applies (especially, but not exclusively) EUTR/EUDR, CBAM, EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility), GPSR, LkSG, in future DPP.
• You contribute to maintaining internal guidelines and processes on compliance requirements. The topicality of all relevant data is also within your area of responsibility.
• If necessary, you work with suitable compliance service providers and organize their activities.
• In case of possible compliance risks, you are responsible for implementing risk mitigation measures.
• You work closely with the areas Product Management, Purchasing, Law and Product Development and are contact person (m/wd) for compliance questions.

Your profile:

• You already have professional experience in a similar position, preferably in the field of (large) trade or a comparable industry.
• You have ideally already experience in the interpretation and implementation of laws and regulations.
• You have relevant knowledge in the field of compliance – ideally also specifically about the aforementioned legal requirements.
• You have experience in daily work with compliance programs and processes.
• You have knowledge of German and English in word and writing to communicate safely with international partners and regulatory authorities.
• You are safe in handling IT systems and the common MS Office tools.
• You work structured, targeted and have a pronounced problem-solving and analytical capability. You're also a real team player.
