Developing an innovative research project on the development of new drum fur implants They investigate the interaction of cells with functionalized material surfaces – with the aim of shaping the implant technology of the future. • They establish novel 3D-in-vitro cell models of the eardrum for medical-technical applications and provide valuable impulses for the development of functionalized implant surfaces.
• They develop new methodological approaches for the investigation of cell material interactions.
• They introduce their own scientific ideas and questions and have the opportunity to implement and develop them in the project context.
• They actively participate in scientific publications and represent your results in scientific exchange.
• You take responsibility in project management, structure your work independently and work closely with colleagues in an interdisciplinary team.

• Complete Master's degree in Biomedicine, Biology, Biophysics or a related subject
• Proven capacity for independent scientific project work
• Experience in cell-biological methods, microscopy and ideally methods of cell mechanics or biomaterial research
• Good knowledge of English in word and writing; first experiences in scientific publications are advantageous
• Extensive interest in project-related work and willingness to take on organizational responsibility and actively communicate project progress
• High level of team capacity and interdisciplinary thinking

• Adjustment is limited for 30 months; max up to 31.03.2028
• Pay by TV-L E13
• Cooperation with practical research projects with high social relevance
• A support team and modern research infrastructure within the framework of the Smart Biomaterials and Biosystems teaching and research centre
