As a co-worker*in (w/m/d) with cooking experience for our in-house canteen, you are looking for a smooth meal for the employees by working in the food preparation, paying attention to compliance with hygiene standards and organizing the kitchen drains. Your goal is to ensure high-quality and sustainable care and thus contribute to employee satisfaction and a positive working environment. In this task, you will: Preparation & Presentation: You prepare food and food according to prescribed recipes – from salads and desserts to supplements and hot dishes to breakfast offers. You align the dishes in an appealing manner and ensure a reliable output to our employees. Food & Service: You prepare the food output, present the food appealingly and ensure correct labelling of allergens and ingredients. Even with a high level of effort, you keep an overview and arrange for a smooth process together with the team. Hygiene, cleaning & food safety: By consistently applying the hygiene requirements, especially according to HACCP, you ensure a safe and hygienic kitchen operation. These include cleaning of work surfaces, appliances and floors, rinsing and regular basic cleaning. Storage & organization: You store food professionally, taking into account the durability, cooling chain and the FiFo principle, and supports incoming goods controls as well as the organization of storage and cooling areas. In addition, you are responsible for the proper disposal of kitchen and packaging waste. Packing together: You work in a self-organized team and perform different tasks as required – from preparation and preparation to food delivery to the kitchen. You can also pack up where it is especially needed.

This is ideally brought with you: Ideally you have a training as a cook/cook or a comparable qualification and bring practical experience in kitchen or canteen. You have a well-founded knowledge of food science, preparation methods and basic cooking methods as well as a good understanding of organic food. You know the relevant hygiene regulations, in particular the HACCP standard, and implement them safely and responsibly in everyday work. You have experience in dealing with orders, goods receipts, warehouse organization and goods movements and know the FiFo principle in particular. You are reliable, you like to work in the team and you can adjust to fixed working hours. Even with high workloads, you remain resilient and keep an overview. You have good knowledge of German and communicate safely in everyday work.
