You take over the encoding and testing of diagnostics, procedures and all DRG relevant facts in close coordination with the service providers of the clinic In addition to the handwritten and digital documentation, you ensure a timely case settlement according to the respective accounting rules In exchange with the cost-beneficiaries, run case dialogues and process medical reasons You actively support the MD Management, process enquiries and expert opinions from the cost companies and the medical service You are also responsible for preparing, carrying out and preparing MD visits You advise and support the on-site service providers to optimize the documentation and the residence time control You are supported on other topics such as external quality assurance, cost accounting, evaluations or specialist DRG training.

You already have professional experience in the medical field, e.g. as a health care and nursing agent (m/w/d), OTA, MTA or in comparable professional groups, preferably with the focus on surgery, or you are a graduate (m/w/d) of a medical-care or health-care field and already have a one-year experience in the clinical environment You have successfully completed an education or training as a medical documentation assistant (m/w/d) or clinical coding specialist (m/w/d) You ideally have at least one year's experience in encoding and have very good knowledge of the DRG system and the valid regulations ICD-10-GM, OPS and the German Code Directives. You have the ability to work independently and structuredly and are safe to use clinical documentation systems (e.g. medico, Diacos) and MS-Office You are interested in participating in the InEK cost calculation as well as comparable costing methods of DGUV and BGKV You are a team-capable personality with social competence, which brings a special personal interest in managing the subject area
