Service planner in public transport (m/f/d)

You will design the total offer for bus and train in a region in Schleswig-Holstein. As an essential core task, you are responsible for the strategic further development of the integral cycle schedule. In this context, you will also participate in the preparation of the public procurement and the design of transport contracts. In addition, you will test and analyze the ÖPNV market in your region in a holistic manner and will boost the long-term development of traffic opportunities. In the operational context, you take over the annual travel planning as well as the construction and replacement travel planning; you test the operating quality and develop appropriate counter-control and offer measures to stabilize the operation. You are in close contact with transport companies, counties and the ministry, coordinate joint projects and represent the topics of your department in political bodies.

You have completed studies in the field of transport, mobility, infrastructure or geography; or a comparable qualification that empowers you to perform the tasks independently. You have professional experience in offering planning, compose traffic-planning understanding and recognize complex system relationships in the public transport network in a targeted and holistic way. You are characterized by a structured, analytical and self-responsive way of working, keeping track of complex issues and developing pragmatic and sustainable solutions. You are convinced by strong communication and presentation skills, you are happy to work in the team and understand how to combine different interests and perspectives constructively and develop sustainable solutions.
