Substitute Professorship for Physiotherapy

The Catholic University of Mainz is a state-recognized university for applied sciences in church institutions. For more than 50 years, experts have been trained in the fields of social, health and care and practical theology. In the field of health and care is 01. September 2026 Professorship for Physiotherapy 50% TZ, limited until 31.08.2028 to occupy.

As a holder of the professorship, you will be represented in this field of teaching and research in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes of the Department of Health and Care.

Expected completed vocational training or studies as physiotherapist*in academic degree/master degree with thematic reference to physiotherapy or health sciences Promotion, related to physiotherapy or health sciences Willingness to participate and further develop the content and organisational implementation of the program offer in the field of health and care In addition, it is expected that you already have experience in (high)school teaching in health professions in practical activity in physiotherapy or healthcare with project work, applied research & development The conditions for admission for professorships are governed by § 49 of the Rhineland-Palatinate University Act. The willingness to cooperate in the university self-administration according to § 37 of the German Federal Law of the Rhineland-Palatinate is assumed. The identification with the aims of a university in the institution of the Catholic Church is also provided.
