Connect the Future! In the eGovernment course, you combine technical know-how with administrative knowledge and learn how digital processes are created, optimized and real value for citizens. By combining theory at the Rhein‐Waal University and practice in the KRZN, you can apply your knowledge directly, introduce your own ideas and experience how modern administration works.

Design the future of digital administration with us! In the eGovernment study program, you will learn how to plan, develop and provide usable software solutions and digital services to make processes and organizations more efficient in administrations. Not only do you acquire information and communication skills, but also social, communicative and organizational skills that are indispensable for modern administrative work. The dual study combines theoretical phases at the Rhein‐Waal University in Kamp‐Lintfort with practical phases in the KRZN. This allows you to apply the content from the lectures directly in real projects, deepen your knowledge and understand how digitalization is implemented in the public sector. After completing your degree, you are an expert in the analysis, design and implementation of IT solutions in public administration. You know how to digitize processes, introduce systems and successfully accompany projects – and are perfectly prepared to actively shape the digital future of our communities.

The main facts A degree is required by the professional qualification or the general university qualification and very good German skills. German nationality or that of another Member State of the EU is required for the employment in the civil service. You bring great interest in information technology, see your strengths in logical thinking and have fun in mathematics. You start with a varied introduction week full of information, interaction and practice. You will not only learn technical and methodological basics, but also how to achieve a healthy start of training. Thanks to our proven sponsorship system, you will be accompanied from the start – for a strong entry into the team and your dual study. The duration of the dual study is 4 years (8 semesters). You will complete your studies at the Rhein-Waal University in Kamp-Lintfort. The study-free time and the practical phase (2 semesters) are available at the KRZN. Attractive training allowance (insufficiency) from the first day: remuneration for candidates of 1.615.68 € You enjoy not only 30 days a year, but you also have free in the practical stages of Rosenmontag, Christmas and New Year's Eve.
