Role composition Design the digital future at MANN+HUMMEL - as a buyer for the IT product group with real influence. Your challenge Strategic management of the IT goods group including definition and implementation of supplier and product group strategies and active management of the supplier panel. Coordination and implementation of complex tenders and awards (including offer requests, contract negotiations, selection of appropriate license models) for regional and global IT projects. Identification and implementation of savings potentials, e.g. optimisation of the supplier panel, follow-up negotiations and technical improvements. Contract management with international IT providers as well as ensuring compliance with functional requirements and legal frameworks. Analysis and standardization of purchasing processes and negotiation tools Business Partners for Global Departments Support in auditing, e-catalog creation and audit preparation. Escalation management in critical topics such as contract deviations and quality deficiencies. Representation of the company in shopping alliances and active participation in strategic partnerships.

Your profile Education: Successfully completed studies in business management, supply chain management, engineering, information technology or comparable areas Professional experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in purchasing and/or product group management in an international business environment Expertise: Deep understanding and knowledge of hardware, software, cloud services, saaS, cybersecurity, AI tool and license models Ability to analyze data on expenditure, market trends and supplier services Very good negotiating competence and application of ambitious purchasing methods (e.g. auctions, negotiations with single suppliers) Experience and knowledge of contract management and international contract law

Language skills: Very good English and good to very good German knowledge in word and writing Personality: negotiating skills in dealing with suppliers and ability to interact and cooperate with internal stakeholders Embossed interpersonal skills and negotiation skills in dealing with suppliers High level of teamwork and social competence High self-motivation and team skills with strong desire for success Good communication skills, conflictability, pronounced cost awareness, enforcement ability and analytical thinking
