That makes this job interesting for me: With a great variety of theory and practice, I develop the concepts, technical principles and guidelines for the settings, the construction, operation and maintenance of the protective technology in the 50Hertz transmission network on the basis of my expertise. I keep my knowledge up to date with the latest research and technical development. I calculate and verify the protective device settings for all 50Hertz protective devices in the protective insert. Furthermore, I work with the most modern protective devices in the protective laboratory, consulate manufacturers and support in commissioning new protective devices. After complex disorders, I analyze the error and derive appropriate measures and adapt the protection concept to this effect. I am a contact person in exchange with the management and system, the regional centres, the project departments and other internal and external stakeholders. My tasks: further development of the safety principles in specifications and technical guidelines for the transmission network; Calculation, verification, validation and specification of protective device settings, coordination and technical assessment of plant concepts (primary technical variants and supervisors), analysis, evaluation, quality assurance, parameterization and testing of protective devices of different manufacturers, definition and tuning of the interfaces to other assets and to the superordinate system design, Further development of the asset strategy for the use of protection technology and participation in the procurement of all components of protection technology (depreciation, awarding, acceptance).
