Network & Infrastructure Administrator (m/f/d)

Operation and support of the LAN, WAN and WLAN infrastructure at our locations Administration and Troubleshooting of Enterprise Firewalls, Firewall Rules, VPN Connections and Security-relevant Network Components Administration of switches, VLANs and routing and implementation of standardized LAN/VLAN configuration changes Operation, management and error analysis of WLAN infrastructures, access points and central management/controller systems Technical contact for site and network connections as well as for faults and changes in the SD-WAN/WAN environment Operation and Troubleshooting of Basic Infrastructure Services, in particular DNS and DHCP, including Linux/Unix-based Systems Basic support for adjacent infrastructure topics such as virtualization, backup/recovery and central authentication services Monitoring, End-to-End Error Analysis and Processing of Incidents, Changes and General Technical Operations Cooperation with internal teams and external IT service providers in ongoing operation Support of website hosting (Nginx, PHP and MySQL)

You have a completed training in the IT sector (e.g. specialist informatics/in system integration) or a comparable qualification and brings well-founded practical experience in the operational operation of network and infrastructure environments. It is crucial for us that you can analyse network disturbances independently and safely maintain the relevant infrastructure components in day-to-day operation. Network: Funded knowledge in TCP/IP, switching, VLAN, routing and VPN Firewall & Security: Practical experience with enterprise firewalls, rules, VPN and troubleshooting; Experience with Fortinet/FortiGate is particularly desirable Wi-Fi: Access Points experience as well as central management/controller systems and WLAN-troubleshooting Basic services: Good knowledge of DNS and DHCP as well as experience with Linux/Unix-based infrastructure services Infrastructure: Basic knowledge of virtualization and backup/recovery as well as understanding the relationships with Active Directory and multi-factor authentication Operation: Experience with monitoring, end-to-end error analysis, incident and change processing as well as standardized technical operational tasks

Knowledge of FortiAnalyzer, FortiAP or comparable enterprise network/security platforms Experience with SD-WAN and multi-site WAN infrastructures In-depth knowledge of VMware/ESXi, Linux/Unix and backup/recovery solutions basic understanding of adjacent Microsoft infrastructures; Intune/Entra ID identifiers are optionally advantageous Experience with ticket systems / ITSM tools (e.g. Jira Service Management) and ITIL basic knowledge Experience in technical project support, coordination of external service providers or clearly defined subprojectsWhat distinguishes you:
