Senior Project Engineer (d/f/m)

Your task:

• Guide and implement investment projects safely, on time and on budget – in line with the Henkel Project Management Framework
• Control all technical and engineering aspects of assigned projects within the European region
• Promote all phases of the project – from feasibility studies and concept development, implementation, commissioning and start-up to handover and project completion including Lessons Learned
• Identify, evaluate and minimise project risks and solve or escalate challenges in a situation-oriented manner
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with project stakeholders and cross-functional teams and ensure alignment and transparency
• Work closely with internal expert:inside and technology specialist:inside to realize best-in-class solutions
• Promote the continuous exchange of best practices between sites and the regional engineering organisation to strengthen sustainability skills
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of sustainability practices across all locations

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in CAPEX investment projects in an industrial environment, as well as pronounced project management skills including experience with relevant tools and methods
• High self-motivation, independence and flexibility in a dynamic international environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organisational levels and functions
• Secure handling of Microsoft Office, MS Project and CAD applications
• German and English language skills in word and writing
• readiness to travel across Europe of up to 30% depending on project use
