For our IT infrastructure and event services department, we are looking for a

Linux Administrator (m/w/d)

Your main tasks:

• administrative support, design and further development of the necessary IT technology or Software
• Coordination of user needs to the systems used (Linux systems)
• Management of the operation of the central monitoring solution of IT (CheckMK)
• Support & further development of the company's firewall system to ensure the smooth operation of the IT
• Datacenter operation (network management, storage systems and virtualization)
• Conception and further development of IT deployment via Ansible
• coordination, monitoring and cooperation with internal or external service providers with regard to the systems used
• Participation in intra-company readiness

Your profile:

• completed studies in the field of IT or corresponding training with further technical qualification or the willingness to further qualify
• several years of professional experience in the Linux environment
• comprehensive knowledge of hosting, working in larger environments or data center automation
• preferably expertise in checkpoint firewalls or Extreme Networks
• ideally experience with Kubernetes infrastructures and backup systems
• Pleasure to work in the team as well as a pronounced analytical thinking capability
• careful and conscientious working together with the ability to keep an overview even in difficult situations
• high level of initiative and self-sufficiency as well as fun in developing creative solutions
• very good German and good English skills
