As a department manager, you are the driving force in many environmental issues and advise the management and other organizational units competently on nature and species protection. You are responsible for the sustainable conservation of green spaces at Cologne/Bonn Airport and are coordinating environmental compensation measures (eco account in the Natura 2000 area). The control and adaptation of the wildlife control programmes in accordance with ICAO/EASA Directives in cooperation with the bird impact officer You take care of the subject of soil protection and build efficient ground management on the airport campus. Based on the ICAO /EASA guidelines, you work closely with the obstruction officer as well as with the Federal Forest in the Wahner Heide and take care of the removal of renewable obstacles Willingness to build and control a central worship organization.

You have a degree in technical or university studies, ideally in the fields of geography, biology, landscape ecology or forestry engineering. Multi-year, relevant professional experience incl. Staff management in a responsible, qualified position will bring you along. You have already supervised larger construction projects in the field of nature conservation and have a well-founded knowledge of natural, forestry and artenschutzgesetz at Landes- (NRW) and Bundesebene. Cooperation with nature conservation authorities in NRW is not strange to you. Solid knowledge of land-typical biotope types and animal species, as well as experience in controlling compensation measures are a feature. You have knowledge of land protection laws and regulations at national and federal level.
