Senior IT-Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibility for operation, further development & quality assurance of central security systems (SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, Vulnerability Management) Analysis of security incidents, development and optimization of detection & response concepts Designing the security roadmap and developing the security tools used Definition and assessment of security requirements for IT infrastructures (Server, Network, Virtualization, Container) in close coordination with the responsible teams Cooperation with IT engineering and operation to implement safe business and architecture concepts deriving minimum standards, cure specifications and consulting IT teams in security-relevant configurations and changes Technical support for audits and translation of regulatory requirements in concrete measures and support in risk analysis

Training or studies in IT or comparable practical experience Multiannual experience in IT security, infrastructure or platform operating environment Deep knowledge of central infrastructure and security areas such as operating systems (Windows/Linux), network and communication security as well as security monitoring & detection (SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS) Experience with modern platforms and technologies (e.g. container, virtualization) as well as in curing systems and infrastructures Ability to derive and implement technical safety requirements, standards and curing requirements Knowledge of relevant security frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO 27001, BSI basic protection, PCI DSS) Experience in automation, scripting or integration of security solutions (e.g. APIs, SOAR) Flowing German knowledge in Word and Writing (min. C1 level) Analytical and Structured Operation High self-responsibility and strong communication and team skills incl. Mentoring Willingness to take on call and service trips to a small extent
