Number: MER000489B In the “Project Management Quality E/E – Customer Readiness” department, you can expect versatile tasks directly on our vehicles. You become part of the team responsible for the quality of electrical and electronic vehicle systems. The team “Project Management Quality (PLQ) Automated Driving” plans and manages the worldwide activities for the quality of driving assistance, parking and camera systems as well as the systems for highly automated driving. Already in an early stage of the process of product development, we introduce the requirements of our customers into the development and contribute to the design of the functions and performance of the systems. We take into account different global and regional requirements that we receive through our interfaces at national and international locations. Our activities are consistent with the requirements of our customers. Before entering the market, we give the quality approval for automated driving functions. Our team consists of seven colleagues who look forward to your support. We work together confidently and at eye level. Regular exchange and open, direct and constructive communication are essential components of our cooperation. We also work with modern technologies as well as international project partners in the USA, Europe, China, Japan and South Korea. As an intern*in, our team supports you in various tasks in the context of the quality release of E/E vehicle systems. These challenges come to you, among other things: Support in the need-oriented planning of tests for the quality release of driver assistance systems Tracking the test progress over the entire test period Test results for completeness and vulnerabilities Evaluation of test results and compilation of statistics and KPI overviews Support in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of committee meetings Working to optimize existing processes and processes As part of your activity, you will get insights into the entire process of quality approval of E/E vehicle systems and work on different topics in the environment of automated driving functions. In addition, participation in and support during test drives is possible. The activity can begin from February 2027.

Course in Economic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or a comparable degree course

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Secure handling of MS Office and Microsoft teams

Knowledge in the programming languages Python and SQL as well as a safe handling of AI assistants are advantageous

Commitment and team skills

Analytical way of thinking and a strategic and independent way of working

Knowledge of the product range of Mercedes-Benz is desirable
