Development Engineer (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d)

Location: Berlin

Qualification and optimization of automated processes for surface pre- and post-processing (e.g. sandblasting and smoothing) of gas turbine components Creation and optimization of robot and CNC programs for process automation Planning, implementation and evaluation of experiments including test reports Ensuring dates, quality and costs in the project environment Technical contact (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) for the production of process questions and problems Analysis of existing manufacturing processes and identification of optimization potentials Implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors

Completed studies in mechanical engineering, process engineering, materials engineering, chemistry or a comparable field of expertise with an average professional experience Alternatively, a completed technical training with many years of experience in the field of surface processing Deep knowledge of robot and CNC programming Knowledge found in material technology, in particular coating, joining and surface technology Experience with statistical process analysis, experimental planning and associated software (e.g. minitab) Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
