Use your expertise in optics and photonics to advance the continuous improvement of our high-precision photomask metrology systems. In your role, you play a key role in developing innovative solutions and increasing product quality. Development of innovative optical systems: design and implementation of high-precision optical systems for the DUV photomask metrology

Analysis and Optimization: Conduct detailed analyses on the performance of optical systems and their continuous optimization to increase measurement accuracy

Conception and realization: Development and evaluation of request and error budgets, development of system and assembly concepts and simulation of influences on measuring accuracy and derivation of development priorities

Interdisciplinary cooperation: Close cooperation with the teams of engineering, manufacturing and quality assurance for seamless integration of optical systems into existing processes

Documentation and Presentation: Creating comprehensive documentation and presentations on research results, development steps and technical solutions for internal and external stakeholders

Troubleshooting and Support: Support for troubleshooting and problem solving in existing systems and implementation of improvement measures

Academic background: Complete university studies in physics, optics, mechanical engineering or a related area (promotion of advantage)

Expertise: Knowledge of optical system development, ideally experience with optical simulation tools and microscopy techniques

Technical understanding: experience in the handling of lasers, camera systems and precise measuring instruments as well as knowledge in image processing and automated data analysis

Analytical skills: Impressive ability to analyze complex optical systems and derive effective optimization strategies

Team orientation: Embossed team capacity and joy in cooperation in an international environment

Language knowledge: Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
