In this position, you take over the overall technical responsibility for the water and wastewater infrastructure of the association and develop it with management, employees and external partners to the future. Leadership & Organisation: You lead and develop around 50 employees in the fields of technical facilities and supply networks with a total of five departments, create clear structures and promote cross-departmental, proactive cooperation. Technical operation: You are responsible for the safe and economical operation of water extraction, treatment and distribution, as well as waste water drainage and treatment and ensure reliable disposal and disposal at any time. Investment & economic planning: You plan, control and monitor investment, maintenance and refurbishment measures, including civil engineering, and contribute to the development of the technical business plan, always in cooperation with the commercial sector and the management. Strategy & Interfaces: You accompany strategic decisions with technical aspects, provide important impulses for the further development of the supply and wastewater network and work closely with authorities, engineering offices and external service companies.

You have completed their studies in civil engineering, in urban water management, environmental technology or a comparable field of expertise. Their multiannual professional experience in water and/or wastewater management ideally includes a leading function. Their well-founded knowledge of the relevant regulations, for example from DWA and DIN, is up to date. You combine leadership skills with strong communication and organizational ability and understand how to guide employees and support them in their development. You think economically, act responsibly and keep a close eye on quality, safety, sustainability and feasibility in your decisions.
