The Katholische Kliniken Ruhrhalbinsel consists of a total of 3 facilities: St. Josef-Krankenhaus Kupferdreh, St. Elisabeth-Krankenhaus Niederwenigern and Fachklinik Kamillushaus Essen-Heidhausen. These facilities have been part of Contilia since 2014.

Old-care specialist (m/w/d)

In the St. Joseph Hospital of Copper Rotation, care is carried out at the highest medical level, a focus is on various surgical clinics, aging medicine and neurology. The two other clinics are facilities for treating mentally ill people, the camillus house has the focus of treating people with addiction diseases.

Description of posts

Your tasks:

• Planning early rehabilitation – you create individual care and rehabilitation plans and implement them structuredly.
• Promote mobility – you carry out storage, transfers and exercises and strengthen everyday skills.
• Prevent complications – you monitor vital signs, manage symptoms and ensure prophylaxis (e.g. aspiration/decubitus prophylaxis).
• Advertise relatives – you advise valuing and bind families to care.
• Secure documentation – you carry out comprehensible documentation and work closely with medicine, therapy and social services.

Qualifications

You complete our team if you...

• a completed training as a health care and nursing caregiver, nursing care professional or nursing caregiver / nursing caregiver.
• Empathy, patience and genuine interest in the accompaniment of neurologically ill patients.
• like working in the team, thinking interdisciplinary and communicating openly and respectfully.
• Have pleasure in professional development and actively acquire new knowledge.
