They represent the field of software development convincingly in practical teaching and application-oriented research, with a special focus on software architectures and programming methodology. You can deepen the wide overview in one or more current subareas. You are responsible for the exciting task of carrying out practical courses in the field of basic training and in your individual focus. They support young people in their development and support project and final work. They are involved in applied research as well as in technology and knowledge transfer between university and business. They cooperate with our international partner universities. Through your commitment to self-administration, you are shaping the development of our university. They take over further diverse service tasks according to § 46 Landeshochschulgesetz Baden-Württemberg.

scientifically sound knowledge of software engineering and other aspects of software development; broad expertise on methods, technologies and processes. In-depth knowledge of at least one current part of software development, such as web technologies, AI in software development, Secure Coding, Green Coding, Quality Assurance, User Experience. Multiannual relevant professional experience in responsible role in software architecture and/or project management. Completed university studies in computer science or a comparable discipline. Special ability to scientific work, which is usually demonstrated by the quality of a doctorate. Special services in the application or development of scientific knowledge and methods in a professional practice of at least five years after the university degree, with at least three years being carried out outside the university sector. Pedagogical aptitude which is usually demonstrated by experience in teaching or training or by participation in continuing and continuing training in university teaching. Ready to offer English-language courses.
