Building (organisational) structures, processes and resources in the area of space, as well as professional management of employees in the area of responsibility Building a Data Platform for Space Reconnaissance Data Conception of High-availability and Scalable Cloud Architectures Without Internet Access Design of architectures for the development of data processing environments Analysis and conception of performant and secure interfaces for the integration of satellite data interfaces/Ground segment into the platform Definition of interfaces to other cloud/data platform areas within the Rheinmetall Group

Participation in the business development in the area of space, e.g. by identifying and analyzing market trends and new technologies, as well as their influence on the different business areas Conducting market analyses (size, addressability, growth, competition, etc.) as part of strategy development and creating market models Assessment of possible M&A projects and partnerships Evaluate existing and new customer requirements Develop and derive product strategies based on analyses carried out together with the business units and subsidiaries

Construction of the project team in coordination with the project management Development and implementation processes Creation of load and obligation specifications for the customer, project and subcontractor Responsible for the technical implementation, verification, validation and delivery to the customer Construction and implementation of a reporting on the performance monitoring of the project Definition of project KPIs in coordination with project management Implementation of important project reviews with the customer in line with the quality assurance

Reporting to Management/C-Level Monitoring of selection procedures for subcontracting Analysis of procurement processes and responsible conduct and support of project-related procurement processes to completion Key Account Management in Space Business and Presentation of the Product Portfolio at Customers Establishment and responsible implementation of the full system engineering, including professional management of employees

Complete technical master's degree in computer science or comparable fields of study Multiannual project experience in the cloud environment Experience with military data classification levels as well as strong knowledge in cybersecurity in the cloud context Experience the tools associated with a cloud environment (CI/CD, Micro-VM, k8s, Dockers, Spark, ...) Strong competencies in modeling data structures with UML, SysML and comparable modeling languages Competences in interfaces and message protocols Long-standing experience in implementing development projects Long-standing experience in the design of technical systems Methodology competence in project management Basic financial knowledge (e.g. financial key figures) to evaluate business models First experience in carrying out market, competition, product analyses English language skills (in word and writing), in particular Strength of negotiation and enforcement Interest in cutting edge technologies, business ideas and innovation spirit High intercultural competence worldwide readiness to travel JOBV1_EN
