Head of Risk Controlling (m/f/d)

As Head of Risk Controlling (m/w/d), you take over the professional and disciplinary leadership of a team of nine employees and control the central risk control function of the Sparkasse. You are responsible for the planning, monitoring and control of all essential risks, in particular risk-bearing capacity, market price, address and operational risks. Ensure a close relationship with corporate management, business and earnings development and the planning processes. Your tasks include the further development of risk strategy, the creation of risk reports and the implementation of risk inventory. You ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (in particular MaRisk) and act as a competent contact person for management and executives. In addition, you promote the development of your team and work on cross-disciplinary projects.

For this responsible task, you will bring a successfully completed study in the field of BWL, finance, banking, or completed vocational training with further qualifications of higher education institutions. You have at least two years of experience in risk controlling/risk management of a regional/sparkass institution or a commercial bank – ideally in a leading function. It distinguishes an analytical talent and strategic thinking as well as a structured way of working. For this key function, a responsible leadership is sought which, with enthusiasm, strength of conviction and communication as well as social competence and diplomatic skills, takes over the demanding task of risk controlling. As a regionally connected credit institution, identification with the Sparkasse and the region is also particularly important, where risk controlling is used by Gifhorn. .
