(Senior) Consultant | Data Management Banking (m/w/d)

As part of our team, you will advise financial institutions in the transformation of their data architectures – from request analysis to conception to implementation. Your focus is on regulatory & technical data requirements, the optimization of data processes and the development and implementation of sustainable data management concepts. You work closely with our customers and interdisciplinary teams. Your tasks You advise our customers on modern data architectures, data models and data management concepts You design and implement data governance frameworks taking into account regulatory requirements (e.g. BCBS 239, RDARR, FiDA). You support the transformation of data landscapes through data mesh, data storage or data warehouse concepts. You optimize data flows for reporting, finance, risk management and compliance. You control work packages and project teams and work closely with customers and internal expert teams.

You have successfully completed your studies in economics, computer science, mathematics or a comparable subject. You have at least 2 years of professional experience in the financial industry, business consulting or in a FinTech focusing on data management (ideally BCBS 239/RDARR). You bring experience in analyzing technical or regulatory requirements and their impact on data architectures. You have a high IT affinity and first experience with query and programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python, R). You work analytically and structured and have a distinct problem-solving competence. To optimally advise our local customers, you are ready to travel nationally and internationally. Very good German and good English language skills are part of your profile.
