In your role, you are responsible for the stable, secure and efficient operation and the strategic development of the Institute's network infrastructure, in particular in the areas of routing, switching, network access control (NAC) and network management based on Cisco. You operate network-related services such as DNS, DHCP and monitoring and ensure their reliable availability. In addition, you continue to operate and develop the IT security infrastructure, especially in the environment of firewalls (Palo Alto) and public key infrastructure (PKI). Engagedly support the administration and further development of our virtualization platforms (e.g. VMware and Proxmox) as well as the operation of the Windows domain structure and master basic tasks in client management.
