Your tasks:

• Management of purchase negotiations with suppliers to achieve the new product project and series targets as well as the annual price negotiations with suppliers incl.
• Documentation of purchases via the purchasing system
• Planning and implementation of CSDPs and initiation of appropriate measures to achieve objectives
• Plausibility of supplier offers with cost planning/development as well as enforcement and compliance with cost targets for manufacturing materials
• Implementation of the purchasing strategy and coordination of joint awards with the Group
• Ensuring timely awards in compliance with strategies
• Optimization of supplier structures and evaluation of suppliers in advance of procurement decisions for a complex working area

Your qualifications:

• Completed study of BWL, technical studies or comparable training
• Shopping experience, preferably within the Commodity Exterior, as well as technical expertise and distinct technical understanding
• Knowledge of the essential operational processes and relationships in Mercedes-Benz AG
• Safe occurrence and enforcement, as well as negotiation skills, moderation techniques and team skills
• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications
