Kitchen Assistance (m/f/d)

The Berufsförderungswerk Dresden, a non-profit company, is the carrier of a supra-regional center of occupational rehabilitation according to § 51 SGB IX with the aim of allowing workers who can no longer pursue their previous profession for health reasons to participate in the working life by a new professional qualification.

For the full use of our participants in the process of professional rehabilitation, we would like to occupy the following place for two years with the option of a subsequent permanent employment:

Küchshilfe (m/w/d) with a regular weekly working time of 40 hours (full time).

Your duties

• Work in the production of hot and cold dishes according to the chef's instructions
• Preparation and preparation of simple dishes such as salads, rolls, cold plates, dessert
• Competent for breakfast and breakfast Evening care of our participants
• Support for general kitchen work (food and beverage output)
• Retrofitting of output counters during service times
• Responsible for the proper storage of food in the cooling rooms
• Takeover of cleansing, rinsing and cleaning
• Compliance with hygiene and quality standards
• In the shift service according to the monthly service plan, partly also on weekends
• Early shift 5:30am to 14:00pm and late shift 11:00pm to 19:30pm

Your profile

• Multiannual professional experience in the field of Community catering
• Complete vocational training in the gastronomy or in the economic field but also cross-enterprises are welcome
• skills and professional experience in the preparation of essential food components
• knowledge of HACCP, health certificate
• Ready to work in the team
