Analytics and Audit Engineer – Revision Analyse (m/f/d)

Structure and management of the data value chain: You are the engine for our data-based analyses in the field of revision. In this task is the technical concept and management of data acquisition. This includes identifying relevant data sources, defining requirements and designing data pipelines in close cooperation with IT. You not only ensure the technical functionality, but also the quality and up-to-date of the data that serve as the basis for our decisions. Data Modelling & Transformation: You design, develop and manage robust and scalable data products for all data-based tests. The focus is on the transformation and plausibility of raw data from various sources (cash, merchandise, ERP, etc.) in clean, performant and reusable analysis data sets Infrastructure & BI connection: You are responsible for the further development of the analysis infrastructure and make sure that the data you model for our analysts via BI systems (especially Qlik Sense and Power BI) are performant and usable Technical interface & Enabler: In this role, you will bridge the gap between the IT data infrastructures and our analytical environment Professionalization of data analytics: In addition to your main tasks, you create a robust and audit-proof data base by automating recurring analysis processes (e.g. in Python/SQL) and by consistent quality tests as well as a clean documentation (Data Cataloging) to ensure data integrity and traceability

Education: A completed study in the field of (economic) informatics, data science, statistics, economic engineering or a comparable qualification with a strong technical focus Tested practice: minimum 3-year professional experience as an analytic engineer, data engineer or in a comparable technical data role Technical core competencies: SQL: Excellent, practice-proven SQL skills are your craftsmanship, especially for complex transformations and data modeling Python: You have good knowledge of Python, ideally for data processing (e.g. with Pandas) and the automation of scripts Data modeling & pipelines: You bring well-founded experience in data modeling (e.g. star/snow block diagram) and in the construction of data pipelines. Experience with modern data transformation tools (e.g. dbt) is a big plus BI systems: Secure handling of at least one leading BI tool (Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau) from the perspective of data connection and modeling

Nice-to-have: Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g. Azure, Databricks, Snowflake) and with tools for version control (e.g. Git) Mindset: You combine a deep technical understanding with the ability to translate business requirements into sustainable data solutions and understand data as a 'product' for your internal customers (analysts, supervisors). A structured, solution-oriented and independent way of working distinguishes you Languages: German language skills (C1 level) in word and writing as well as good English skills Team & Communication: You are a team player who likes to share knowledge and proactively contributes to the development of the team and the technological landscape
