Banking supervision therefore has the task of monitoring the business activities of financial undertakings and maintaining the trust of investors. The employees of the auditors shall contribute to this by carrying out audits at the local financial institutions. Their missions lead them to destinations in Germany and abroad. On the basis of clear rules, the auditors assess the functioning and adequacy of ICT risk management and ICT processes of financial companies and their ICT third-party service providers.

As part of the banking supervision, You take part in bank-business audits by financial companies and their (cloud) ICT third-party service providers (incl. payment service providers, service providers for cryptoassets) in Germany and abroad. You assess the functioning and adequacy of ICT risk management and ICT processes on the basis of the supervisory rules. You are a team expert or Expert for information security (e.g. network security, cryptography, vulnerability management, penetration tests), application development (e.g. design, programming, build, test, deployment) and application and infrastructure operation. Your tasks include the independent analysis of documents from financial companies and the conduct of interviews with their employees. The results of the tests are summarized in German or English language. The results of the audit will be presented to you on-the-spot and to the audited financial companies.

Master's degree or equivalent degree of (economic) computer science Studies or professional experience in the above topics of IT security are expected strong ability to penetrate and judge complex processes safe and binding occurrence Self-responsibility and strong teamability very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Willingness to participate in examinations at changing locations in Germany and abroad
