Head of the Tram Maintenance Department (m/f/d)

In this key role, you take responsibility for the maintenance and provision of our tram vehicles, drive the further development of the workshop processes and thereby significantly shape future performance from the points of view of quality, safety, economy and a motivating working environment. As a specialist field manager*in, you conduct 6 teams with around 180 employees professionally and disciplinaryly and design modern leadership structures in the context of change and transformation processes. In your activity, you are responsible for two properties and the technical workshop infrastructure. You are responsible for the maintenance of our tram vehicles and ensure an economical, safe and quality performance while complying with all legal and operational requirements. Processes and maintenance strategies optimise and standardize continuously, using specific key figures for further development – preventive, corrective and conditional. You drive the continuous improvement process and ensure work security, fire protection and compliance with all audit and quality requirements.

completed studies* of the field of automotive engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent skills and knowledge based on a long-term professional experience leadership experience in a technical environment – ideally in vehicle maintenance or a comparable workshop or workshop Production environment – as well as a strong and motivating guide personality Experience with Lean methods, CVP and KPI systems as well as the optimization of processes, structures and maintenance strategies very good German knowledge (min. language level C1) Within the framework of the recruitment process, you are expected to have a deafness examination after BOStrab.
