You support the preparation and implementation of conservation and renaturation projects on German rivers and conduct flow-water investigations, including analysis of historical conditions and the creation of water-ecological deficit and potential analyses. You acquire nationwide funding projects, participate in the coordination and implementation of funding programmes and association participation (e.g. Blaues Band Deutschland, overall concept Elbe). You prepare tenders, arrange modelling, planning and construction services and accompany the delivery of services including coordination, preparation of results and documentation. You organize office processes, coordinate appointments, manage inventory, create resources and prepare materials for project-related public relations. You work closely with authorities and other bodies, note relevant legal and administrative provisions and undertake construction measures as well as updating our GIS database.

You have an engineering degree, ideally in hydrology/water management/construction or related engineering and natural sciences. You can work independently and professionally interdisciplinary in applied nature conservation and bring team and authority competence. You can control GIS, databases and office applications safely. You have at least basic knowledge of computer simulation, modeling and programming. You have good knowledge of German and a class B driving permit; ideally experience with third-party projects as well as hydromorphology, water engineering/renaturation and local knowledge.
