Test Automation Engineer - Focus on Databases (m/f/d)

As part of the team, you are responsible for the development and maintenance of automated testing of our database software. Based on the present requirements, you will set test cases and corresponding test scripts, define the necessary test data and implement them in Java or PL/SQL, using established frameworks for test automation. Another focus of your activity is testing solutions based on Oracle DB. Check the functionality, performance and scalability of the respective database implementations. You carry out the automated tests, evaluate the results and eliminate errors that occur to continuously increase the accuracy and reliability of the tests. In addition, you work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that test automation meets their expectations. In addition, you are responsible for testing database migrations as part of release changes and thus ensuring the smooth introduction of new software versions. Your integration is supported by experienced and helpful colleagues. During this phase, you will learn the software and our development tools to solve your own tasks independently. Of course, you have the opportunity to participate in training and internal lecture series to get to know innovations, to deepen techniques or to look at the edge of the plate

Complete technical or scientific studies (informatics, mathematics, physics, or comparable study programme) or a comparable qualification with corresponding professional experience in the labour market or multiannual experience as a test automation engineer or Java developer Experiences with common test automation tools such as utPLSQL or JUnit Designed analytical, conceptual and creative skills with a high and solution-oriented approach Experiences with interdisciplinary, cross-functional teams Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing
