EKF-diagnostic GmbH is an international specialist in the field of in vitro diagnostics. We develop, manufacture and distribute blood analysis equipment to support medical diagnosis and to use in medical facilities and clinical laboratories. Our versatile POC Analyzers are used in the treatment of diabetes, performance diagnosis, haematology and veterinary medicine. For our Research & Development department, we are looking for a working student (m/w/d) who wants to dive deep into the world of modern mechatronic systems - from hardware development to virtual simulations to real test setups. Your role - in the middle of development As a working student (m/w/d) in the field of mechatronics / hardware development, you work directly with our R&D team on complex medical systems. We deliberately do not seek a specialist for only one subarea, but a technical all-rounder with interest in: Hardware development Simulations & Tests Test setups Data analysis mechatronic systems You connect mechanics, electronics and system thinking - from digital simulation to real attempt. Cooperation in the development of mechatronic hardware assemblies and systems Support for mechanical and electromechanical constructions Development, implementation and evaluation of virtual and real tests Conducting hardware tests and testing on test equipment Construction, commissioning and optimization of experimental setups Conducting measurement series on mechatronic components and systems Analysis and structured evaluation of experimental data Working with the optimization of components, assemblies and overall systems Support in the creation of technical documentation, drawings and test documents Close cooperation within our development area

Current master's degree in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable Enthusiasm for hardware development and mechatronic systems Basic technical understanding in mechanics, electronics, materials and manufacturing First experiences with simulations, tests or experimental experiments are of advantage Structured, analytical and independent operation Joy in connecting theory and real measurement results Teamability and good communication skills Good knowledge of German and English
