Number: MER0003PSN We are responsible for managing all costs for the production material of the new vehicle business and non-production material (NPM) from Mercedes-Benz. This includes all deliveries of suppliers for the complete vehicle portfolio (manufacturing material: raw material, seats, wheels, screws, etc.) as well as all other third-party services and materials (specialized hourly services, operating assets, consumables etc.). According to our mission (“We Drive Material Cost Performance of Mercedes-Benz”), we define challenging targets for development, purchasing (MP and IPS) and lifecycle management within the framework of the periodic planning (MBBP). These goals confirmed by the Executive Board, we follow the monthly analysis of the financial statements and the yearly tracking (performance measurement and forecasting). Through our control activities, we significantly support the transformation. These challenges include: Participation in the analysis of material cost development for identifying strategic options Support in the development and optimization of controlling methods Creation of special business analyses for specific ad hoc situations Accompanying the cost planning and control in the area of production material, including IST-recovery, plan/IST comparisons and deviation analyses Participation in cross-departmental and cross-departmental projects Analysis and documentation of business processes within the framework of plan and IST processes The mandatory practice can begin from September 2025.

Degree course in economics or a comparable degree course with deepening in controlling or finance Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office Good opinion Embossed, conceptual and process-oriented thinking skills Structured operation Teamability and number affinity Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
