The team heads imaging systems in the IT applications department at the Centre for Information and Communication (ZIK) and reports directly to the IT applications department. The team management coordinates and controls the application care of the imaging systems used in the clinic. Close cooperation with the other teams of the department will be carried out with the various IT infrastructure, the IT applications department, the IT infrastructure department, the various departments of the clinic, as well as external manufacturers and service providers.

The function carries the overall responsibility for the stable and safe operation of the imaging specialist applications and systems. It also ensures the further development of the system landscape in order to implement legal requirements, technological developments and the needs of the specialist areas. Other focuses are the leadership, promotion and further development of the team's imaging systems as well as active cooperation with other teams and areas.

In essence, the activity includes the following tasks: Professional and disciplinary leadership of the team Visual systems including resource planning, task distribution and prioritization. Responsibility for operation, service quality and further development of imaging systems as well as adjacent interfaces. Understanding and evaluating technical relationships (system landscapes, interfaces, IT security, etc.). Planning, prioritization and control of measures focusing on imaging systems and monitoring the implementation. Close coordination and cooperation with internal stakeholders (clinic areas, IT, medical technology) and external partners (manufacturers, service providers). Building and maintaining efficient structures for incident, change and problem management – both within your own team and in close coordination with the IT service, other departments and external service providers. Ensuring efficient second-level support for the team and interface management for first-level support. Further development of the team and targeted promotion of the strengths and potentials of the individual employees. Responsibility for budget and cost planning in the area of responsibility. Representation of the team in internal and external bodies.

Professional qualifications: completed studies of (medical) informatics, business informatics or a comparable qualification; Alternatively, an IT-oriented training with several years of professional experience in IT applications, preferably in healthcare. Ability to understand, evaluate and make use of complex technical relationships. Experience in controlling IT application landscapes, preferably in the hospital environment. Knowledge of IT management methods and frameworks (e.g. ITIL, project management methods, agile approaches). Confidence with data protection and IT security requirements. Experience in cooperation with manufacturers, external service providers and internal stakeholders. Personal competencies: Leadership and motivation as well as skills in team development. Empathy, collaborative capacity and integration capability, especially in cooperation with interdisciplinary teams and in coordination with technical and clinical disciplines. Communication strength and the ability to combine different views. Analytical and conceptual thinking skills as well as structured and solution-oriented working methods.
