Head of R&D - Plastics Technology / Product Development (m/f/d)

In this strategic and operational key position, you will lead our 20-member R&D team and develop SANIT as an international competence center of the ROCA Group with works in Germany (SANIT), China, India and Turkey technologically. In this way, the following tasks are included: You develop the technology and product roadmap for our plastic and flushing technology solutions and control innovation management. You establish global platform strategies and secure our technological advance through active IP and patent management. You plan and manage the entire R&D budget as well as the project portfolio from the first idea to series maturity. You guide and coach the employees:in the R&D areas as well as the team management of the certification and product data management areas (PDM/PLM). You link product development, tool design and application technology according to the design for manufacturing principle to optimize injection molding processes across all plants. You position SANIT as a leading competence centre and are leading to the coordination of cooperation with the Roca Group R&D teams.

A completed study in the field of engineering, mechanical engineering, plastics engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable subject area Multiannual leadership experience (line or matrix) of larger development or engineering teams Reliable experience in a producing plastic company, ideally in the field of flushing technology or plastic technology Deep understanding of the entire product development process – from tool design (injection moulding) to innovation management to PDM/PLM systems Strong intercultural competence to integrate international teams and lead to common goals Analytical thinking combined with the ability to implement strategies in measurable operational R&D success German and English knowledge for secure communication in the global group network
