The LWL-Klinik Münster is a modern and innovative specialist hospital for psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychosomatic medicine of the Westfalen-Lippe (LWL) landscape association with 376 beds/flats and provides local residents of the city of Münster and the surrounding districts.

The institution is the body of the LWL, which provides a comprehensive psychiatric system in Westfalen lip with highly differentiated psychiatric treatment and care offerings at 15 locations.

The clinic is divided into five chiefly headed departments “General Psychiatry and Psychotherapy”, “Special Psychotherapy”, “Search Medicine”, “Gerontopsychiatrie” and “Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy”. In the departments, around 6,000 patients are treated in a stationary and daily clinic per year. Four daily clinics with psychiatric-psychotherapeutic, medical, psychosomatic-psychotherapeutic and rontopsychiatric focal points are available for the partial-stationary therapy. Outpatient psychiatric, psychotherapeutic and psychosomatic treatments are offered by a department-differentiated institute collective.

The clinic is annexed to the LWL-Pflegezentrum Münster with 80 seats and the LWL-Wohnverbund Münster, a housing facility for people with assistance requirements according to the SGB IX with 137 seats and associated assistance in their own haeility.
