We are looking for a purchase/procurement manager (m/w/d) for the product group Steel, which combines operational excellence with the construction and further development of strategic purchasing structures. Development, implementation and continuous development of purchasing strategies for steel Analysis of procurement markets and selection, evaluation and development of suitable suppliers Guide price and contract negotiations and maintain long-term supplier relations Control of operational procurement including Ensuring material availability, delivery performance and quality Close coordination with internal departments and regular reporting to the purchasing manager

Completed vocational training and at least 3 years of professional experience in metal or technical shopping, ideally in the building environment Outstanding numerical understanding, experience with price developments and budget planning and cost control Good negotiating skills and experience in managing price and contract discussions, primarily in the DACH area Good technical understanding of materials, services and subcontractors Proactive, structured working with pronounced analytical and strategic thinking Very good communication skills, safe appearance and reliable knowledge of German
