This makes this job interesting to me: 50Hertz is responsible for the power supply of more than 18 million people and makes a significant contribution to the energy transition. As Masterin or Coordinatorin primary engineering, I am responsible for the safe operation of our high-voltage power plants around our site in Neuenhagen or Berlin and am on site when maintenance and maintenance measures are implemented in our plants. Depending on the location of work, my field of application includes the outdoor air systems (AIS) in the Land of Brandenburg – from Prenzlau in the north via Frankfurt/Oder in the east, Brandenburg/Havel in the west to Zossen in the south – or the gas-insulated switching systems (GIS) in the entire Berlin city area. I coordinate the work on our facilities, agree closely with internal and external stakeholders and ensure the smooth running of the measures. I keep in mind the technical interfaces to the facilities of protection and control technology. Clear and convincing communication forms the basis for efficient implementation of maintenance measures and for consistent compliance with work, health and environmental standards.
