The Evangelical Regional Association Frankfurt and Offenbach (ERV) is an association of the Protestant Churches and the Evangelical City Deanate Frankfurt and Offenbach with many valuable, city-related tasks. We have a wide range of ecclesiastical institutions and social services in the region with the aim of supporting people in everyday life, but also in crisis situations and providing valuable help for self-help. The Department of Finance and Accounting of the ERV deals with all issues relating to financing and accounting for all ecclesiastical institutions and social services within the Association in Frankfurt and Offenbach. The Financial Accounting Division is one of four areas within the Financial and Accounting Division and primarily responsible for the document booking and deposit as well as the account withdrawal processing for proper accounting and quality assurance.

Ensuring proper accounting including Quality assurance in the field of financial accounting Professional and disciplinary leadership and motivation of a team of about 9 employees Optimizing existing accounting processes and identifying potentials for improvement Further development and digitalization of accounting processes Cooperation with internal departments and external partners Ensuring compliance with legal and internal requirements in the financial sector Representation of the management in the field of cash/payments

a Qualified Diploma Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts – Public Administration or Similar Education multiannual professional and management experience in financial accounting well-founded experience in the organization of booking processes safe handling of the common accounting and office software (MS-Outlook, MS-Word and especially MS-Excel sound knowledge of commercial accounting and payment transactions Communication strength, moderation, conflictability, decision-making and enforcement High level of responsibility as well as strong quality awareness and innovation joy
