Development and maintenance of central middleware for over and underwater systems for fail-safe communication and reliable redundancy mechanisms in distributed systems Developing the requirements and development of architecture and design, supported by modern tools Test automation and documentation for continuous quality assurance and training of other developers Working in a creative, agile development team to develop and implement solutions Cause analysis in complex systems

Very good knowledge of software development with C++, e.g. multithreading, sockets, API design, and basic knowledge of Python Experience in the administration of Linux systems, in particular shell scripting and systemd, or willingness to acquire this knowledge Interest in other programming languages, e.g. Java and Ada Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing readiness for occasional trips to Germany and abroad High understanding and problem-solving competence Teamability and high degree of independence in an agile environment readiness to carry out a safety review
